Green tea is a traditional drink of China. It was cultivated by the Chinese almost five thousand years ago. In those days, green tea was used by the Chinese for treating headaches and depression. The recent studies and research has revealed that drinking green tea not only lowers the cholesterol levels but also helps to maintain a healthy ratio of the good cholesterol to bad cholesterol.
